: (1) The employer must provide accident insurance of at least seven lakh rupees to cover any type of accident of each worker.
(2) The entire premium amount of the insurance as per subsection (1) shall be borne by the employer.
(3) If a worker dies due to an accident or becomes physically or mentally disabled, he or she will receive 100 percent of the insurance amount as per sub-section (1) as compensation to such worker or his or her rightful owner according to prevailing law.
(4) In case of an accident and a person who is crippled or disabled, he will get compensation based on the percentage of disability as specified.
